Seventh sense required?
One of the unique identifiers which makes us call it the sixth SENSE is our ability to speak. But there are moments in our life where our minds speak and JUST only our minds speak and NO words uttered.
How would a person feel when the girl he loves is being loved by his best friend? Would the person be able to share his love or thoughts to either his friend or the girl? I would call this as one of the toughest moment in ones life. Here is when one would be forced to weigh his love and friendship. Obviously both cannot be compromised for each other!! Can they ever be? What could the guy do? To whom should he walk to? His friend or his love? Can he exercise his identifiers of sixth SENSE? What should he compromise?
The interesting part of love is that it is tough to express ones love to the person he loves. There are hardly any words which could express the love one has. I still wonder why creator though created such an interesting SIXTH SENSE, but has allowed us to go through such tough moments where the SIXTH SENSE goes un-noticed!! May be a SEVENTH SENSE makes sense?

It sure is a very tough situation in one's life. If I understand this concept of SEVENTH SENSE, One can understand the other person's mind without even he/she expressing it with words. This will definitely help to express one's love to the other. But the same will prove to be dangerous to the friend. I mean when he gets to know that his friend also likes the same gal then I feel friendship will rift.
I believe, discussing this matter with your friend will result in some amount of fissure in your friendship. If you don't open it for ever, you lose your love, I don't think that is right too. 'Life is a beautiful puzzle. And friendship is the best heuristics.' I am sure your friend will understand.
I think one important factor we are overlooking here is whom does the girl like.
I guess both these friends (you & me) should go to a bar, take in liquids (way to lose all our senses. I guess thats what we need rather than your seventh sense ;) kidding you...) and talk about this issue. By the way, did you you talk to Priya on this?
The female species are better poised to handle predicament of these kind. IMHO, the best solution would be to let the girl handle this. Probably they are men's 7th sense.

Sixth sense is not required for this issue! Common sense is enough! You should both dump the girl and go for a drink :-) .. there are millions of fish in the ocean :>
